Megan M. Davis, PhD

Dr. Davis is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Kentucky. She earned her bachelors degree in psychology at the University of Chicago and her MA and PhD in Clinical-Community psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After finishing her clinical internship through the Charleston Consortium at the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Davis completed an NIMH-funded (F32MH132259) postdoctoral fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 
As a developmental clinical neuroscientist and licensed clinical-community psychologist, Dr. Davis is passionate about research examining risk and protective factors for healthy development across childhood and adolescence. Her work draws on multiple psychological and neuroscience approaches and considers the role of diverse lived experiences in promoting flourishing across the lifespan. Outside of research, she enjoys hiking, baking, and spending as much time in nature as she possibly can.
